Forum Pedestrian Bridge Illustration & Video Title
This illustration and motion title was based on my photograph of a newly constructed local bridge, recently built to provide a safer route for cyclists and pedestrians.
CHALLENGE:
The video aimed to inform the public about the bridge’s development and its role in improving pedestrian and cyclist access to a popular destination. At first glance, the subject seemed fairly unremarkable, so the challenge was to create a visual approach that would capture interest and inspire civic pride.
SOLUTION:
To better understand the project, I visited the bridge and photographed it on site. Though newly built, I noticed vegetation already beginning to grow around the iron bars—an image of nature reclaiming space and coexisting with urban design. Using that detail as inspiration, I transformed what could have been a plain concept into a vibrant illustration and motion title, reimagining the bridge as a symbol of connection, growth, and renewal within the city.
